Deen Eye Hospital (DEH) a collaborating partner of WHO VISION 2020: Right to sight. Its mission is to provide high quality eye care to the rural poor for prevention and control of avoidable blindness in Bangladesh. It is a secondary eye care provider formally working since 2020 at Kishoreganj district. Its catchments areas covering a population of 25,94,954 from 1794 villages. DEH’s primary target is the grass-roots patients and delivering an intensive and qualitative eye care services through eye camps and base hospital. It performed different types of surgeries but large volumes of cataract surgeries.
Deen Eye Hospital is a secondary eye care provider in Kishoreganj district, endow with the high quality eye care to the 32 million rural folk’s dense 13 upazillas of Dhaka Division and 04 upazilas of Mymenshing Division is about 110 km away from the capital. This 10 bedded hospital is build up in 28 Jauary 2020 at the urban environment with the financial and strategic supports from Deen Muhammad Foundation Dhaka. DEH is engage to promote the community ophthalmology to implements the Vision 2020 goal is declared by WHO. Is engaged in conducting frequent outreach eye camps, free vision screening and awareness rising on eye programs for school children, unprivileged folks of all age group and doing large no of cataract surgeries, for reducing avoidable blindness and early childhood blindness from the Kihoregang district, developed an excellent team of skilled Ophthalmologist and surgeons, to assist Deen Mohammad Eye Hospital & research Center , Dhaka.
